Westlake Center, the southern stop of the Monorail, is located on the third floor of the Westlake Shopping Center with tracks running above the sidewalk of 5th Avenue for a single platform for the monorails two tracks, both serve the same platform. Reaching the monorail requires passing through the stores of the mall, although there is an elevator directly up to the platform from the street.

The station area is located in a little outdoor porch from the stores of the mall and boarding feels much more like getting on an amusement ride (but without the maze for waiting, trains almost never depart full) than transit. The small outdoor waiting area is designed with two sections, in middle is section fenced off by a low metal barricade with plexiglass insertswith a few park benches for waiting passengers. This is the paid area and leads to four little boarding areas with half height platform-edge doors that line up with the doors of the articulated monorail car for boarding. So passengers can't ride round-trip for free, the two sets of outside doors on either end of the long articulated monorail car open first discharging those before the operator walks the length of the car to change direction and begins another trip and opens in the two sides of doors in the inside of the car that align with the paid area.
