Port Haney is the only stop on the line (other than Waterfront) without any on site parking except for a few spots for 15 minute waiting for passenger pick-up on River Road, the street alongside the station. (TrainBus Service does not even pull into the station, the passengers going inbound must board on the opposite side of River Road). The station's single platform has the standard long length although there are two tracks, there is the standard central lighted entrance with the TVMs and some other official walkways but many passengers were observed just crossing the grassy area to get up to River Road and have a shorter walk home. The view beyond the platform is excellent. It is of the Fraser River with some trees in between on the opposite side of the tracks.
