Sapperton is one of the strangest Millennium Line Stations in is an elevated station above the CN Railway line used by the Rocky Mountaineer, Amtrak Cascades and VIA's Canadian to access Vancouver. The only legal access to the two side platforms consists of a staircase/up escalator up to a small mezzanine (plus an elevator) where the TVMs are before a long walkway leads across the railway tracks above Spruce Street and Burnette Avenue to the station entrance in a small plaza set back from Keary Street
