Lake City Way is an elevated Millennium Line Station with two side platforms that have full height walls of glass and a sloped angled roof across both platforms and tracks. At the western end of the station each platform has a single up escalator/staircase and elevator own to a street level fare control area this in turn leads out to the single station entrance with an oddly angled awning overhanging from it in a small plaza along the east side of Lake City Way, at a bus loop just beyond its intersection with the Lougheed Highway.
