Tigard TC

Tigard is the midpoint passing location for the DMUs on their rush hour, every 30 minute round trips. The station has an island platform for the northbound track is that is gauntlet, meaning wider freight trains can also clear the platform while southbound track is standard and is only for DMUs. A freight train is too wide and would swipe the side of the stop's high-level platform. The single platform has a simple central metal canopy over a few benches and a lone TVM beneath it. It also has its installment of interactive artwork. The southern end has a wide but decently long ramp down for the only access to a pedestrian grade crossing that connects to the Thomas M. Brain Tigard Transit Center along the NE side of the tracks that predates the building of WES (I can tell simply by the signage), there is also a small 103 space parking lot on the SW side of the tracks. The station is just south of the grade crossing with Main Street.
