Elmoncia/SW 170th Avenue has two side platforms and is just east of one of the TriMet Maintenance facility. Each of these has a simple yet slightly artistically designed canopy with a roof angled away from the platform. A low single chain fence runs between the two tracks with legal pedestrian crossings at either end, one just beyond the grade-crossing with SW 170th Avenue that has an entrance directly to the City Center-bound platform. The main form of access to the station is from the 435 space park and ride lot north of the platforms. The artistic theme at the station by Don Merkt is transportation, moving objects plants and people. The most obvious portion of this installation is three carts scattered around both of the platforms.
