Lloyd Center/NE 11 Avenue is the last stop in the free fare zone and of street running near Portland's City Center before the light rail lines enters a high-speed independent ROW along I-84 to zoom east. The stop has an unusual design of an island platform that serves eastbound trains (with two wires forming a bit of a fence along the other track) and a side platform for westbound trains on the edge of Holiday Park, along the northside of Holiday Street. The station platforms begin at NE 11th Avenue and continue until they end after the length of two LRVs but an area for the middle platform continues west all the way towards 13th Avenue, where the ROW begins after crossing 13th Avenue.
Each platform has two of the standard glass canopies for waiting passengers. There is a single relay track just west of the station that connects to both tracks from the westbound direction and goes north on 11 Avenue, this was where the Portland Vintage Trolley terminated until it was rerouted to serve only the transit mall in 2009 when the Green Line opened along the downtown transit mall. There used to be a shelter and information panels about the streetcar but they has since been removed (Google Streetview of the area, Image Date: May 2009).
