Providence Park is a stop for the stadium that is now home to the Portland Timbers of the MLS. Like so many stadium stations it has had four different names since it opened in 1997 when it was called Civic Stadium. Starting in 2001 its been named after corporate sponsers (who I don't think are paying Tri-Met to rename the station). From 2001 to 2011 it was renamed PGE Park, folled by Jeld-Wen Field from 2011–2014. The name Providence Park (named a local healthcare system) has been the name of the station since 2014.

This Eastbound station has a single platform on the north side of the single track and is located just after trains curve off of SW 18 Avenue and away from the westbound trains. The block the stop is on is a one block portion of Yamhill Street that has been closed to private traffic and trains cross 17 Avenue to leave the station and run along traffic. The one platform is on the north side of the tracks and is along a parking garage. There are two glass shelters with blue metal holding them up along the platform and a scattering of different types of benches.
