Surrey Central as the name implies is an elevated SkyTrain station with an island platform serving the center of Surrey, although this is a relatively low-lying commercial area. The elevated structure here is above the west side of 135 Street. This stop also has a bus loop and served by 23 bus routes. Access is via two places at the eastern (really Southern, King George-bound end) a staircase/up escalator combination leads down to a small middle level mezzanine where the TVMs are before it turns at an angle and leads down to a middle area of the bus loops. Next (across one road of the bus loop) is the elevator that leads down to the middle of the sidewalk with a few TVMs for those passengers leading against a concrete pillar that holds up the guideway. This is followed by the other entrance a staircase/up escalator that leads to a mezzanine with TVMs and two staircases plus an up escalator up to the platform.
