22nd Street

New Westminster Station serves the town centre and is within walking distance of the former train station turned The Keg Restaurant branch. The station has two elevated side platforms and is in the midst of a construction project bringing transit-oriented development to the already quite developed area. This means the station with a mezzanine that connects to two different ends of the elevated mezzanine beneath the platforms is a total construction zone complete with a temporary staircase in places. The main mezzanine entrance is from 8 Street with a secondary entrance in the midst of the construction project from Blackie Street.
