Hawthorne Blvd/I-105 is westernmost stop located in the median of I-105. The station is at the same level as the lanes of traffic with the usual island platform. The main exits are at its western end, starting from the end of the platform is a staircase and than an elevator up to the eastern sidewalk of Hawthorne Blvd's underpass. The platform has fences along the tracks and becames an unpass walkway extending west (with columns from the overpass in the middle of it) to a staircase and elevator up to the western sidewalk of Hawthorne Blvd. Each of these exits has turnstiles and TVMs at Street level. The middle of the platform has a nice long canopy (but none of the staircases are covered) and at the eastern end is just a staircase that leads to a pedestrian overpass across the southern (eastbound) lanes of traffic before reaching its turnstiles into a slightly dilapidated, quite empty in the middle of a weekday, park & ride lot with with weeds starting to show up through gaps that have formed in the concrete. A bus loop is in this lot as well. There is another lot just north of the station and in total there are 1223 spaces in total.
Artwork: Little bronze Companions by Mineko Gimmer have invaded the station. They are little half-figures (torsos and feet) and are scattered around the station platform and entrances.
