Atlantic is the terminus of the Edward R. Roybal Linea de Oro Eastside Extension which opened on November 15, 2009. The station is located in the median of Pomona Blvd and there is a single island platform with a sail like canopy between two tracks. Trains use a crossover before the station and relay within the station although the tracks continue for about two LRV lengths beyond the station to bumper blocks at the foot of Altantic Blvd. This is where one of the station entrances is, the eastern one from the western crosswalk of this intersection. First is a little purple canopy structure at the intersection before it goes up to a very long ramp and than walkway at platform level with railings on either side. It finally reaches another purple shelter structure where the TVMs are and than the platform actually begins. At the western end is anther entrance from the middle of the intersection of Pomona Blvd, Beverly Blvd (at a diagonal) and Woods Avenue. This is a bit shorter with a quick ramp up to a purple canopy structure above the TVMs and than the western end of the platform.
