Mount Hood is one of 4 closed green line stations that took effect on April 20, 2004 to speed travel times on the 'D' Branch. The stop consists of a fully intact outbound platform and mostly no longer paved inbound platform but stop signs exist. All trolleys must briefly stop at at either end of the former platform. This is mostly to provide a safe crossing for the pedestrian crosswalk at the former stop that have a gap in the fence between the tracks and a bright yellow concrete crossing island right along the intersection where Mount Hood Road ends with access to the eastbound lanes of Commonwealth Avenue only.
