Pelham Parkway (White Plains Road as the strip maps on 2/5 trains say) is located above White Plains Road Crossing of the the very wide urban boulevard with parkland between the service roads and main through portions of the road that is Pelham Parkway. The station is a local stop with two side platforms for the three track line who's lengths are almost exactly the distance that is the width of Pelham Parkway including its wide green malls and bike paths.

The stop, since it is so visible from the side, has received the decorative concrete treatment with concrete facing on the metal elevated structure over the entire station. There is a line of green trim at the very top of the elevated structure. This I assume is original since the MTA advertised that they were giving it a historic restoration when the stop was being rebuilt in 2005-2007. This mostly means that along both platforms are non-translucent opaque but letting in light glass windows that alternate with mesh in the small casement window frames. The entire platform is canopied but there no posts holding the canopy up, its cantilevered over the entire platform from posts on the platform's walls that are clearly distinguishable.

For exits, the main one is at the southern end of the station and a very unusual combination street stair/up escalator (with the escalator having an obaque glass wall to avoid weather getting on it) leads up from the SW corner of Pelham Parkway South (the most southern surface road). On the SE side is a simple street stair as well as the street elevator up to the mezzanine (this elevator shaft area is shared with the Manhattan-bound platform elevator that is right next to it just beyond the fare control fence). Inside the mezzanine is the token both facing three turnstiles and a High Exit Turnstile from the Wakefield-bound side of the mezzanine. Inside fare control a single staircase and separate elevator provides access to the Wakefield-bound platform. To the Manhattan-bound platform is a single staircase and a single short by subway standards escalator beyond this staircase that is always going in the up direction.

There is a secondary exit at the northern end of the Pelham Parkway intersection. A staircase from eitherside of White Plains Road and beyond the station platforms leads up to a small mezzanine level whose northern end where the exits are is directly beneath the platform ends. This leads to some high turnstile fare control equipment before a single staircase up to each platform (there are platform signs telling Bicycles and Strollers to exit at the other exit) Both fare control areas have windows from the sides of the station in the concrete facing of the elevated to view the outside world.
