110th Street-Central Park North is an unusual Lenox Avenue line station. The station a single island platform for the line's two tracks. The two fare control areas are located on the platform itself since the tracks aren't deep enough for a mezzanine level. The full time booth entrance is at the southern end and leads to one staircase at the NW corner of Lenox Avenue and Central Park North-110 Street, directly alongside the park. There is also High Entrance/Exit Gate entrance, across the street. This is more towards the middle of the platform. The island platform's size isn't consistent either. The southern half of it is relatively wide, north of both exits (the portion of the platform that was extended) the tracks gradually curve together and the northern end is extremely narrow. The station has some original mosaic wall hangings along the platform walls, although those at 72 Street (the only other IRT station that still has them) are in much better shape.
