Harborside Financial Center is a HBLR station in downtown Jersey City with an island platform in the median of very short Hudson Street as the Light Rail tracks meander their way through downtown Jersey City not following any one street for any length of time.The island platform has a single canopy in the middle of it with pedestrian grade crossings at each end for access leading to crosswalks acorss Hudson Street that are slightly far away from the platforms with ramps going down to ad-covered fences at track level before reaching the grade crossings
