Glass Mosaic
By Chloë Bass

These three mosaics on the renovated mezzanine, installed as part of the project to make the station ADA accessible, are based on photos in the New York Public Libraries collection, no faces are visible just torsos all of men. One is of two Orthodox Jewish men in the 1960s with the text: "Whenver I'm pulled under by the weight of all I miss", the second is of a diverse group of teenagers in 1997 with the text "I take some consolation that I have known," the final is two men standing in 2006 with "and may yet know, another life.
