Grand is State Street Subway stations that was just having renovations finished when I visited in August 2011. The stop has two side platforms with the double arched roofs basically in separate tubes with a line of white columns between the platforms and tracks. These renovations gave the platforms the modern blue skyline interior (with Grand/State written in black towards the top of the tiles between red secondary lines) now and enlarged mezzanine with the same design on the walls. The roofs of the platforms have white mosaic tiles along the edges of the arched roofs. The entire station is now ADA accessible with new retro-looking black banisters surrounding the streetstairs, and up escalators to the station entrances at Grand and State Streets.
