Montague is an elevated on a concrete guide way light rail station in the median of Capital Avenue. The station has an island platform with just one exit via a staircase and elevator down from the west end of the station to the eastern side of the intersection of Capital Avenue and a random turnaround lane near a few driveways. Montague Expressway is just west of here. The platform has two white canopy structures.
Today the station doesn't seem to serve much, just some light industry but the stop will be the location of the Milpitas BART station on the Silicon Valley extension due to open in 2018 and will become an extremely important transfer point. The transfer won't be all that convenient with passengers having to rise up to the elevated light rail station from the basically underground (covered) BART station.
