Palomar College is along the eastern section of double-track on the Sprinter Line. The station has two side platforms with a fence between them. The platforms each have 3 canopies and are connected by grade-crossings at each end. The Oceanside-bound platform is along Mission Road and the western end is across from the entrance road to Palomar College and its bus loop transit center right at the entrance. The eastern-quarter of the Escondido-bound platform is along the stations approximate 120 space park & ride lot. Its entrance is opposite the platform from Armorlite Drive.
