This are large concrete reliefs of mermaids and mermen along the sides and tops of the concrete decorative elevated structure that Crosses Ocean Parkway. In some of the reliefs mir-people are lounging at the beach, in others tehy are going on rides at Coney Island attractions. They installation feels very site specific depicting the surrounding beach history of Coney Island and whimsical since the reliefs are all of mer-people.
